The Future
Work has started on the Clutha Gold Cycle Track and this to be be completed this year and and will open in 2013.The track follows the Clutha river from Alexandra down the edge of Lake Roxburgh, then on to Beaumont on the east bank. From Beaumont to Lawrence it follows part of the old rail track. This will give another use for the workshop by offering service to the track as a bike depot.
As we are fully licensed as a food supplier and have a BYO alcohol licence (which could be upgraded to a full licence) a function centre would be another option. We have had a number of weddings in the Church but with the accommodation at the Lodge and engineering at the workshop we have had more than enough to do.
